DIY floral playsuit…

5FLORAL JUMPSUITFLORAL PLAYSUIT36

Jumpsuit originally AX Paris @ New Look

It’s been ages singe I last posted a DIY! I have missed it, I really want to get back into doing it more often again! I have such a long list of things I want to do but I just haven’t got round to doing them yet.

I bought the jumpsuit about a year ago & I have only worn it a few times. I mostly bought it because I liked the print, I wasn’t too keen on the idea of wearing a 3/4 jumpsuit, but never the less I still wore it. But you know me & my obsession with shorts! I couldn’t resist & I finally gave it the chop & made it into a playsuit. I feel like it is much more ‘me’ now. It was pretty easy to DIY to be honest, all I did was cut the shorts to the length I wanted them & hemmed them.

What do you think? Do you prefer playsuits over jumpsuits too?

Speak soon <3

(EDIT: for those of you that wanted to see the jumpsuit on before I DIY’d it.)

  1. I like it better as a playsuit. It looks great!
Generally I prefer playsuits, jumpsuits make you look really short unless you are tall. Well that's how it is on me anyway.

  6. The print's gorgeous and although I liked it before it definitely looks amazing cropped into shorts. I think you'll definitely wear it a lot more now, especially with the sun we've been having of late! x

  15. Definitely looks better as a playsuit, I detest the 3/4 playsuit style, it doesn't flatter anyone unless you're 6" and a size 0. The print is really pretty and suits you so much. Love it! x

I like playsuits a lot better, they are best for summer, and in my opinion look a lot better.

  20. I much prefer playsuits as I am so small, I would look lost in a jumpsuit! I don't think jumpsuits are very flattering either to most body types. Very inspired to find a jumpsuit pattern I like and chop it up after seeing this post. x x
