Black cat nails…

CAT NAILSJANCHRISTIE 1CAT NAILS 4
Nail stickers> link
I want to start off by saying that I have been in no way ‘asked’ to do this post, I simply found this seller on ebay & thought they were so fantastic that I needed to share them with you all!

I was originally mooching around ebay trying to find some rabbit nail stickers (no such luck) but whilst I was searching, I came across ‘janchristie’ & her awesome nail stickers! She has all kinds of designs that she makes herself, including various cats, dogs, tigers, foxes, squirrels, flowers… the list goes on.

As you can see, I went a little crazy & ended up buying quite a few different designs. I was suckered in by the ‘buy four sheets at the same time & get an extra sheet free’ offer, & with 24 stickers per sheet, that’s like, 10 full sets of nails with a few to spare! I couldn’t resist.

I can’t wait to try out the other designs I bought & I will be blogging about all of them so you can see what they look like on. They are such a great alternative to painted nail art, & they were super easy to apply! So what do you think? Have you ever tried nail stickers?

Zero…

ZEROOASAP STUDDED BOOTS
T-shirt: Primark
Striped leggings: Ebay
Sunglasses: Ebay
Boots*: Oasap

Oh hai belly button! So I decided to flash my belly again, sorry. I know it’s not Summer yet but it was such a glorious day & it would have been criminal not to flash a bit of flesh! ;)

How awesome are my new shoes?!?! I have been toying with the idea of flatforms for a while now, I like them but I’m really not a girly shoes kind of person & all the ones I have seen are not quite ‘me’. UNTIL NOW! They.are.perfect. I love that they are flatforms, but instead of being a shoe, they are a peep toe boot! & don’t even get me started on the studs, they are amazing! (& so comfy) Definitely my kind of flatform! You can get them here> link.

PS: I just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who put up with my spammy tweets & fb statuses & voted for my nails in the Motel comp. I didn’t win, but 3rd place isn’t bad & I wouldn’t have got so many votes if it wasn’t for you guys so, thank you! :)

WILDFOX WHITE LABELWILDFOX NAIL wheelWILDFOX WHITE LABEL 1
More muted colours! I love this collection, it’s so dainty because of all the pastel tones & sequins but it still has 100% Wildfox spirit! Oh & how perfect is the models hair!?!

So what do you think of the nails? Which ones are your favourite?

Oddish…

ODDISH 1
Floral blazer: River Island (DIY)
Vest top: Topshop (DIY)
Riding pants: ebay (DIY)
Vans Authentics

Oh hai midriff! I know it’s still only March but I couldn’t resist flashing a bit of flesh. At least I’m not blinding you with my strawberry milkshake legs today, eigh? ;)

I bought these riding pants off ebay a little while ago but unfortunately when they arrived, the zip was completely broken. I got in touch with the seller & they refunded my money but said they didn’t want the pants back so I thought I’d be thrifty & try & fix them (hence the massive silver zip, lol) They aren’t perfect but I still like them &, apart from the huge zip, they are similar to the AA riding pants so I can’t really complain :)

I’ve had this blazer for over a year & have barely worn it because of it was just too long, which is such a shame because I love the print so much. But as you can see, I finally got round to shortening it the other day so now it’s nice & cropped & ready for Summer so brace yourselves, because you will probably be seeing a lot more of this blazer now that it’s been DIY’d.

Also wanted to remind you all of Motels nail art contest, (read about it here) they are announcing the finalists sometime tomorrow so get painting & let me know if you enter! You can see my entry here.

Unique @Topshop SS 12 inspired nails…

TOPSHOP UNIQUIE SS 12 1TOPSHOP UNIQUIE NAIL WHEELTOPSHOP UNIQUIE SS 12 2
I love this collection! The muted palette with a splash of pink & blue, Egyptian themes, sports lux & the lovely Charlotte Free strutting down the catwalk, what’s not to love?

Unique translated onto nails pretty well don’t you think? Definitely not the most detailed set of nails I have ever painted but they still look pretty good. & They are all ‘every day wearable’ too! :) What do you think?

Again, if you have any ‘inspired by nails’ suggestions, I would love for you to get involved & leave any ideas in the comments! :)

I am in love with my new camo jacket! I bought it off ebay for a tenner which is fab as is the exact same one that they are selling on UO for 48 big ones! Bargain? I think so!

I wanted to say thank you for all the lovey feedback you have all given me on my recent nail wheels. Motel inspired nails…

MOTEL 1MOTEL ROCKS NAILSMOTEL 2
As you can see, this weeks nails are inspired by the brilliant Motel Rocks. I always love their designs & I couldn’t resist trying to paint their prints! I am so pleased with how they have turned out. My favourites have to be the floral, baroque & ‘new check’ nails.
I think this whole ‘inspired by’ nails is turning into a bit of a series ahahha! I am really enjoying transferring fashion trends onto nails. What do you think? Should I keep it going, or do you think I’m being a bit too repetitive?

Mango head…

LOREAL MANGO INTENSE COPPER FERIA 5LOREAL MANGO INTENSE COPPER FERIALOREAL MANGO INTENSE COPPER FERIA 1LOREAL MANGO INTENSE COPPER FERIA 2LOREAL MANGO INTENSE COPPER FERIA 3LA RICHE DIRECTIONS APRICOTLOREAL MANGO INTENSE COPPER FERIA 4
I constantly get asked questions about my hair. I did upload a video, a little while ago, explaining exactly how I dye it but I thought I might as well do a blog post too as it’s always useful to look at pictures as well as watching a video.

Firstly, you can see that my hair is two different colours. I like the ombre ‘effect’ & I think it looks just as nice on red as it can on brown/blonde hair. I just think that it adds a bit more dimension. I use L'Oreal feria ‘mango’ to colour the majority of my mop. It is a permanent dye & literally the ‘red’ I have been searching for for years! I have dyed my hair red on numerous occasions using numerous different box dyes & none have been right for me. This may sound silly but, they have all been ‘too red’ where as ‘mango’ has more copper tones in it than any other box reds I have  seen in the shops, making it a little more ‘natural’ looking which is why I like it so much.

Now for the ‘ombre’. As I said before, I only colour the top of my hair with the permanent dye, the ends of my hair are coloured with La Rich’e directions hair pot ‘apricot’ which is a semi permanent dye so it needs topping up every so often to keep it looking vibrant but I really like the colour so topping it up every few weeks isn’t a problem for me.

So there you have it, I tried to keep it short & sweet, I didn’t want to bore you with too much hair talk, but if you have anymore hair related questions, just ask me & I will answer as best I can! :)

Meowth that’s right…

MEOWTH

Cat print shirt: Topshop, via ebay
Boob tube: Topshop (old)
Shorts: Levis 501’s
Cycle shorts: DIY
Fringe bag*: Frank Boutique
Shoes: River Island
Rose gold hair clips (just seen): H&M

Oh hai milk bottle strawberry milkshake legs! I seriously need to start tanning again soon, I look awful with a tan but hey, it’s got to be better than having lilac legs all summer ahahaha!

This is the second time I have bought this shirt. I first bought it about a year ago off the Topshop website & it cost me a whopping £38 & although I really liked it, I ended up taking it back because I just couldn’t justify spending that much money on one shirt. I actually regretted taking it back ever since but as luck would have it, I found it again on ebay the other week for £12.99! :) I love it so much, I am a total dog person but the cats on this shirt are SO adorable!

Frank Boutique were kind enough to send me the fringed bag. I have been after a fringed boho style bag for what seems like forever. I have used it every day since it arrived, It is definitely a new wardrobe staple, perfect for summer! :)

Their prints are perfect, camo, aztec, floral… so I thought I’d give ‘obey nails’ a go. I really like how they turned out, you will definitely be seeing me wearing camo nails soon, it’s my new obsession ahahah!

Candy hair…

CANDY HAIR 7LIGHT PINK HAIR EXTENSIONSLIGHT PINK HAIR EXTENSIONS 1CANDY HAIR 2CANDY HAIR 11
REVIEW
WHAT HAIR TRADE SAY: ‘’Hair highlights is a wonderful and affordable way to change your look. Many celebrities are able to give themselves a sun-kissed look within a quick salon visit. Normally, those highlights generally need to be touched up every 2 to 3 months and have to keep the same style during this 2-3 months. By choosing the clip in highlight products, You can change your look frequently and instantly.’’

WHAT I THINK: I have never been the biggest hair extension wearer in the world but I think colour extension highlights are a great idea. You can get this seasons coveted pastel hair without the commitment or hair damage. If you have been reading my blog for a while, you might remember when I sprayed my hair pink. I did love it but because of my damaged hair, some of the colour stuck even after I washed the spray out & it dried my ends out too. With the highlights there is no damage so they are a great solution to the whole hair drying out problem & obviously, you can simply put them in & take them out as you please so there’s no need to worry if the colour is going to wash out properly or not.

The extensions themselves are really comfortable, I can can hardly feel them when I have them in, & they stay secure to my hair until I decide when I want to take them out. The hair it's self  is pretty soft, & easy as my own hair to heat style.

All in all, I think that extension highlights are a great product. They come in an array of colours so if you are looking for something a little more natural or even a little brighter, there is sure to be a colour to suit.

WHAT DO YOU THINK? Will you be going pastel this season? Have you ever tried extension highlights?

Boyfriend…

BOYFRIEND
T-shirt: ebay
Scarf: H&M
Jeans: Levis
Sunglasses: ebay
Bag: zara
Shoes: Topshop

So after I raved about the weather in my last post it decided to change & be all horrible & rainy so I was unable to take any outfit pictures today. We did get to see a lovely rainbow out of our bathroom windows though so that kind of makes up for the bad weather. Luckily I had these ones saved from last weekend. Phew! It’s not one of my most stylish outfits but hey, it’s comfy!

I wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who tweeted/messaged me on my birthday last Tuesday. I had a lovely day. I am planning on maybe doing a birthday gifts post but nothing I have bought with my ‘birthday money’ has arrived yet so we’ll see how that goes ;)

Hurray for no socks! I know it sounds weird but I hate wearing socks, they make my feet feel clammy :/ so as you can imagine, I have been loving the weather over the past few days because it had been nice & warm, but mainly because I have been able to wear my sandals/shoes without my socks ahaha. #freeeeeedom

I’ve been feeling pretty bummed about my hair recently as my roots are showing through so badly >.< I can’t wait for my birthday packages from my Mum to arrive because I know she has sent me some hair dye! My roots need topping up asap, damn my natural light hair!

Lazy Oaf inspired nails…

LAZY OAF 1LAZY OAF NAILS 1LAZY OAF 2
Lazy Oaf is one of those shops that I can just browse for AGES! I love their designs, especially the bone dress, & I couldn’t not have a go at painting my nails Lazy Oaf style. They took a little while to paint, like my House of Holland inspired ones, but it was totally worth my time! I love how they have turned out! What do you think?
