I think I’m about the only one of us that hasn’t blogged about this yet so I better get a shimmy on! On Sunday I headed into town to meet some fab northern bloggers. Claire organised #nwbloggermeetup as we don’t often get ‘events’ or planned blogger meets up nooorth that often & she did a wonderful job! Thank you Claire!

I know everyone says this but it is really strange meeting internet people in real life, even though you can talk to someone over twitter but at the end of the day, it’s nice to be able to talk face to face & see what people are really like as I think it’s (or at least I find it) quite hard to get my true personality across over my blog & social media sometimes & I’m not the most confident of people so it was really nice to meet these ladies who all share very similar interests that non bloggers maybe don’t ‘get’. What I’m trying to say ladies of #nwbloggermeetup it was lovely to meet you all & I’m sure I will be seeing some of you again very soon! ^_^

We started off in Moka then headed down to Coco Boo & Retro Rehab which are a couple of small boutiques hiding away down the cobbley Preston side streets. I am a big fan of Coco Boo & have featured  them on my blog in the past. It’s really nice to see two lovely girls do so well, especially in my hometown where the highstreet is pretty much non existent anymore. It really is nice to see the Coco Boo girls leading the way for other boutiques out there & proving that you don’t have to be all corporate & expensive to run a successful business! After our trip to Retro Rehab (yet another amazing little vintage boutique (check them out here>link) we headed to Primark to pop Lindsey’s Primark cherry (first blogger/person/living being  I have ever met that hasn’t entered the Aladdin's cave of treasures that is Primark! :O) & unfortunately though, to put it bluntly, it.was.shit ahahhahaha sorry Lindsey, we will have to go again on a better day (‘: We then headed to Strictly Cupcakes, a cute (& very reasonably priced) little vintage esque tea room for said cupcakes & a brew before saying our goodbyes & heading home.

The Craft…

Hello again Yin Yang dress! It has made it’s way into my wardrobe with ease has this one ;) The moon jumper is also a newbie to the old ‘drobe. It’s from Daisy Street & it’s right up my street (eigh, eigh see what I did there ;) ahahha) But seriously, I think it’s awesome! It’s actually a lot longer than it looks in these pictures as I hoiked it up to wear with the dress, just in case any of you were wondering.

I’m not too sure on my hair in this post, I feel I look a bit ‘Heidi’ rather than 90’s chic but plaits had to be done as my hair is SO static at the moment, it’s so annoying. Any of you guys have the same problem, or know how to make hair less static, please tell me your secrets! I am sick of walking around like I have rubbed a balloon on my head >.<

Since buying this denim jacket last weekend, it has quickly become my new favourite! I had been looking for the perfect denim jacket ages but finally came across this on in Primark Men’s of all places haha, it always pays to have a look in the men’s section!

I feel like I should be donning a straw hat & cowboy boots (& heading to Coachella) with this playsuit, but alas, the weather at the moment does not allow for such whimsical dressing, therefore the tights & boots are out again, silly British weather. How amazing is the print though? It reminds me of a kaleidoscope, kind of 90’s psych without being too ‘whoa there~’ & the beads on the cuffs are just the right amount of boho bling. I had fun once…It was awful…

IPhone case*: CaseApp

I was contacted by CaseApp a few months ago, asking me if I would like to make my own custom Iphone case, of course, as I am obsessed with my phone I said yes but if was only last week that I actually ordered it as I was WHAAAY to fussy about what I wanted on my case, but I came across this BEAUTY of a picture of Tard, or as you may know her, Grumpy Cat. As soon as I saw it I knew it was the one. Now I have my very own Grumpy cat! (‘:

The quality of the case itself is really great, it’s kind of matte, which I love & the image has been printed onto it perfectly.

The CaseApp website is so easy to use, you can upload any photo, move it around the case so the picture is exactly how & where you want it & even add text if you so wish! Currently Case App do cases for Iphone 4, 4S & 5 & the Samsung Galaxy S3, if you hae one of those phones & you are looking for a new phone case, seriously, go to CaseApp, it’s bloomin’ amazing!
