I really haven’t been in the mood at all to take any outfit photos this weekend as I am ill, which is SUPER annoying as I never get poorly, so it’s a pretty good job that I had these photos from the other week left over :)

You are all probably getting super fucking sick of my leather jacket aren’t you? Ahh well, you’ll just have to put up with it because it’s my favourite & I’ll wear it with all my damn outfits if I want to… the leather chokers will also be sticking around, I love them, they update any outfit & are just damn cool, I also bought two more this weekend for the bargainous price of £4, which you can check out on my instagram if you wanna ;) (@effiesmakeupbox)

The dress was another good find, it’s from H&M, I bought it a couple of weeks ago now, I’m guessing it’s new(ish) stock as it was still full price (£12.99…bargain?!) anyway, I fell in love with the paisley yin yang print & the shape of it is perfect, it reminds me a lot of my Mink Pink smock dresses. It’s so great for just chucking on when you don’t know what to wear.

Right, I’m going to go & pack for work tomorrow, make up brush washing, here I come! ;)

Gosh, I have a bit of chronic bitch face going on today don’t I? I’m not miserable, promise, I do however feel like I have swallowed a kitchen knife & a handful of rusty nails so that would probably explain my not so impressed looking face…

I have been wanting an alternative to my Levi 501’s for a while now as everybody & their Mum wears them, especially around this time of year *‘like, OMG, it’s totes festival season guys, like, I totally, like am soooo indie & into bands, like where are my denim shorts & crop tops, I need to like dress like, totes boho chic with my expensivo wellies, yah yah…’’* UGH >.< plz stop… anyway back to the skirt, it has replaced my denim shorts & I’m loving it. You can’t beat a bit of asymmetric & exposed zip. Motel, you have NAILED IT once again!

As for the shirt, well, I think the shirt speaks for itself, don’t you  think?!

This amazing MINKPINK top made it’s debut on my instagram (@effiesmakeupbox) the other week after the awesomes at MEEMEE kindly sent it to me. I have worn it so much but only just had chance to photograph it today as the weather has been so bloody crap >.< I have said it before & I will say it again, I love MEEMEE so much! All of the jewellery I am wearing is from DIXI. I love the moon & star above knuckle ring & wish necklace, just how I like my jewellery, dainty, but a little bit unusual. As you may already know, I am into crystals & I definitely believe in their energy & healing properties, my favourites, & have been for a long time, to wear ‘every day’ are amethyst & rose quartz & I have been super impressed with my rose quartz from DIXI! Since buying this denim jacket last weekend, it has quickly become my new favourite! I had been looking for the perfect denim jacket ages but finally came across this on in Primark Men’s of all places haha, it always pays to have a look in the men’s section!

I feel like I should be donning a straw hat & cowboy boots (& heading to Coachella) with this playsuit, but alas, the weather at the moment does not allow for such whimsical dressing, therefore the tights & boots are out again, silly British weather. How amazing is the print though? It reminds me of a kaleidoscope, kind of 90’s psych without being too ‘whoa there~’ & the beads on the cuffs are just the right amount of boho bling.
