Hi guys! Sorry for the iphone quality outfit photo but I thought, just as I'm getting re-settled, I would post a few quick & easy OOTD's for you to tide you over ;)

I have been after a khaki duster coat for what feels like an AGE, & there are plenty of really nice ones around (here, here, here & here as examples) but I just couldn't find the 'perfect one for me, whether it be because the khaki wasn't green enough, the length/material wasn't what I was after or the fact that all the super pretty ones were WAAAY out of my price range. So when I saw this Topshop beauty on good old ebay (brand new for £35 less than in store) I couldn't say no >.<

What do you guys think of the duster coat / jacket trend? Are they something you have been investing in the past few seasons?

I have had this hat for goodness know how long now & I wear it literally all the time so I am pretty hocked that this is it’s debut on my blog. Liam always calls me George (R R Martin) or Patrick (Stump) whenever I wear it (good job he likes both those people ;)) & I do feel like a lost member of the Village People when I wear it sometimes but you know what, I don’t even care, I still love it! ^_^

Anyway, enough about my hat, how amazing is my dress?! It’s by Somedays Lovin’ & I can safely say they are a new favourite brand. Seriously guys, they are way up there with MinkPink & Evil Twin! Why hello there bloggy people, we meet again >.< Gosh, I have been away for a fair while haven’t I? Sorry about that, a bit of an unexpected break really but I guess we all need them sometimes don’t we, you know, to actually catch up on life in real life a little rather than spending my entire life on the web. Well I hope you didn’t miss me too much ;)

I have a lot of things planned over the next few weeks :) London Fashion Week being one of them :) I have never been before & I am so excited! I am going with Lindsey (Ropes Of Holland <check her blog, it’s the bomb!) & we have managed to bag ourselves our very own apartment for the two days we are there! Eeek! I really haven’t been in the mood at all to take any outfit photos this weekend as I am ill, which is SUPER annoying as I never get poorly, so it’s a pretty good job that I had these photos from the other week left over :)

You are all probably getting super fucking sick of my leather jacket aren’t you? Ahh well, you’ll just have to put up with it because it’s my favourite & I’ll wear it with all my damn outfits if I want to… the leather chokers will also be sticking around, I love them, they update any outfit & are just damn cool, I also bought two more this weekend for the bargainous price of £4, which you can check out on my instagram if you wanna ;) (@effiesmakeupbox)

The dress was another good find, it’s from H&M, I bought it a couple of weeks ago now, I’m guessing it’s new(ish) stock as it was still full price (£12.99…bargain?!) anyway, I fell in love with the paisley yin yang print & the shape of it is perfect, it reminds me a lot of my Mink Pink smock dresses. It’s so great for just chucking on when you don’t know what to wear.

Right, I’m going to go & pack for work tomorrow, make up brush washing, here I come! ;)
