light a cigarette & smoke it all away…
Happy Sunday everyone, I hope you are all enjoying your extra hour!? :) It’s Liams birthday today so we have been celebrating his 25th by eating chineese takeaway, watching Ghost Adventures & carving pumpkins! If you want to see them just head over to my instagram (username: @effiesmakeupbox) ;)
I actually wore this outfit last weekend but I have been saving posting it until now because it’s kind of Halloweenie & I thought it would be more appropriate to post it this week rather than last…anyway, the shirt & faux fur gilet are from ROMWE. I literally haven’t had the gilet off my back since it arrived in the post. It goes with everything, it’s so versatile! I fell in love with the shirt as soon as I saw it , I have wanted some sort of skull shirt for a while now but wanted one that was a little different than the ones that seem to be all over the webz at the moment so when I saw this one I knew I had to have it!
The shorts are from Coco Boo. They are pretty much a perfect copy of the AA disco shorts. They are super comfy & go with everything but most importantly, they are a bomb cheaper than the AA ones! If you haven’t already checked out Coco Boo, you really should, the stock they sell is awesome & the girls that run it are so lovely!

Witchy Talons tutorial
Woah, a nail tutorial, I haven’t done one of these in a while! As little while ago, company magazine got in touch with me & a couple of other bloggers to see if we would contribute to their Halloween issue (it’s in the shops now!) I was specifically asked if I could do 2 spooky nail tutorials & well, this is the first of the two! I hope you like it! Let me know if you try them out!

I have so much love for this tie dye dress from Coco Boo. It’s the easiest thing to wear in the world & it’s super comfy. I have been wearing it as a dress like this & I also wear it as a top with jeans/black high waisted pants, tucked in at the front with the dip hem out at the back- it sounds better than I explained ahahaha. It’s just such a laid back grungy piece & it’s tie dye, who doesn’t love a bit of tie dye? ;) If you haven’t already, you must go & check out the Boo online here>link they stock some fab pieces at awesome prices & the girls who own the shop are ever so lovely! :)
I really am beginning to warm to my new background now, sorry I keep going on about it but I really am so fussy when it comes to my outfit photos. Are any of you guys the same? Probably just me ahahahaha (‘:

Yay for my new background! ^_^ Liam was kind enough to help me take these after the trouble I’ve had with my tripod ahahaha, thank you Liam (‘:
This outfit is officially my new favourite, I love the layers & the fact that it’s all black except for the band of sequins. It has definitely got me in the mood for Autumn. You have probably seen this skirt before if you follow me on instagram (@effiesmakeupbox) as I have been instagramming it, & it’s sisters, like mad the past week or so. I love it & I know quite a lot of you guys love it too so you will be happy to hear that they are live on the missguided site now so snap yours up while you can!

The hamsa bracelet was courtesy of The Pretty Junk. I literally haven’t taken it off since it arrived. I love that it’s really quite dainty but still eye catching & the fact that it goes with everything that I wear is awesome! If you haven’t already checked out The Pretty Junk, you really should. As well as selling all sorts of amazing jewellery & accessories they also have a huge range of vintage & modern clothes that you will fall in love with! Check them out here>link.

Oh my goodness, these photos feel so old now ahahaha, they were taken as part of my ASOS style challenge back at the beginning of September when we were still in Spain, gosh, that seems like such a long time ago now! Oh how I miss this white wall! (': Looking back now, I actually really like my hair in these photos, I really should wear my fringe like this more often when I wear a beanie...
