Palm print shirt: Motel
Denim zip skirt: Motel
Pleather jacket: Daisy Street (ps there is 30% off everything at the mo ;) )
Bitch face: all mine babaaay!

Gosh, I have a bit of chronic bitch face going on today don’t I? I’m not miserable, promise, I do however feel like I have swallowed a kitchen knife & a handful of rusty nails so that would probably explain my not so impressed looking face…

I have been wanting an alternative to my Levi 501’s for a while now as everybody & their Mum wears them, especially around this time of year *‘like, OMG, it’s totes festival season guys, like, I totally, like am soooo indie & into bands, like where are my denim shorts & crop tops, I need to like dress like, totes boho chic with my expensivo wellies, yah yah…’’* UGH >.< plz stop… anyway back to the skirt, it has replaced my denim shorts & I’m loving it. You can’t beat a bit of asymmetric & exposed zip. Motel, you have NAILED IT once again!

As for the shirt, well, I think the shirt speaks for itself, don’t you  think?!

Impel Down…

DAISY STREET BLACK DUNGAREESDETAILDAISYSTREET BLACK DUNGAREESNEW LOOK FLATFORMSlolzBRETON STRIPES & RED LIPS
Black full length dungarees*: Daisy Street
Striped Crop Top: Topshop
Sunglasses: Ebay
Flatforms: New Look

Oh hello overly edited photos ;) I’m starting to get a little bored with my background so I just couldn’t resist sprucing it up a bit with these little bokeh hearts (‘:

This weekend has been a good’un Liam & I spent the day at Birmingham Comic Con yesterday, which was amazing! We ended up getting there way later than we planned as we were stuck in traffic on the motorway for a few hours :/ but alas, even sitting in almost stand still traffic was quite fun as loads of people driving past us had a good ol’ chuckle at our costumes (‘: I will be doing a whole Comic Con Birmingham 2013 blog post probably sometime next week so you can see a little bit of what we got up to,  our costumes & a few others too! But for now, if you want to see what we dressed as, head over to my instagram (@effiesmakeupbox) :)

This is my new favourite ‘comfy but still looks like I’ve made a bit of an effort’ outfit. I’m a sucker for stripes & dungarees are my fave garment of the moment, so comfy, so versatile, just bloody amazing if you ask me ;)

Also as you are probably all already aware, & you can see the mahoosive banner in my side bar, but it's Company Magazine Blog Awards time again & I have never really bothered with it before but I am a huge fan of Company & would love to get involved! I would be so grateful if you could take a few minutes to nominate my wee blog (preferably for best personal style blog or best fashion blog) thank you so much in advance you lovely people! xx

Clueless…

Cueless daisystreet 1Clueless daisy street blazeryin yang nailsClueless plaid tartan suit jacket daisystreetClueless tartan blazer Daisy StreetClueless jacket daisystreetbubble gum
Red Tartan Oversized Blazer*: Daisy Street
Green tartan playsuit: Topshop
White Shirt: Topshop (old)
Black Jersey Top: New Look
Tights: Primark
Hat: H&M
Peep Toe Suede Boots*: OASAP

So as you can see I took inspiration from Clueless when I put this outfit together as an ode to Wildfoxes newest collection & quite frankly, I love it & want to dress like this every day now! Just call me Cher ;)

I was kindly sent the tartan blazer after attending the Daisy Street event just before Christmas & I am so happy with it! I thought it might clash with my hair, being red & all but I don’t think it looks too bad? It’s a really nice wool material & fits perfectly, oversized but no too oversized if you know what I mean ahahaha & it’s the perfect length too! Thank you very much Daisy Street!

What do you think of outfits like this? Too garish, or perfectly Clueless? ;)
