This amazing MINKPINK top made it’s debut on my instagram (@effiesmakeupbox) the other week after the awesomes at MEEMEE kindly sent it to me. I have worn it so much but only just had chance to photograph it today as the weather has been so bloody crap >.< I have said it before & I will say it again, I love MEEMEE so much! All of the jewellery I am wearing is from DIXI. I love the moon & star above knuckle ring & wish necklace, just how I like my jewellery, dainty, but a little bit unusual. As you may already know, I am into crystals & I definitely believe in their energy & healing properties, my favourites, & have been for a long time, to wear ‘every day’ are amethyst & rose quartz & I have been super impressed with my rose quartz from DIXI! Yes, I can now finally say, after what seems like a million years of yearning for it, I am now officially the proud owner of the MINKPINK cosmic horse dress! I won it in a bit of a bidding war on ebay for a pretty awesome price ^-^ eeee, I hate bidding on ebay so much because so many people ‘don’t know how to bid properly’ bidding days & DAYS before the listing actually ends, pushing up the price >.< (but we’ll not get into that now) but I do love a good win, ‘last second ebay sniper’ is my name & ‘winnning’ is my game ;) lol did I really just write that? Ahahaha (‘: Gotta love ebay!

It seems so long since I have done an outfit post. I have been super busy again :S But I’m back & I don’t know if you can tell by these photos but I have bought myself a new camera! :) I have been saving up for ages to buy myself a DSLR & I finally did it, it’s a sort of birthday present to myself/first wage slip purchase, but like I said, it’s something I have been saving up for for a long time, & I didn’t just buy it for my blog, I still stand by that you don’t need a DSLR to have good blog photos, hell I have been blogging for almost three years without one & my blog has done just fine, I bought it because I like photography, I’m in no way saying that I am a photographer of any kind but taking photos is a pretty big hobby of mine so buying my Canon 1100D made sense as I know I will get a lot of use out of it for my photo taking habbit & for blog photos :)

Anyway onto the clothes! MinkPink & Out & About kindly sent me this beauty of a dress a couple of weeks ago & I have literally worn it to death since it arrived. It’s such a nice shape, not too clingy, not too short & hangs perfectly. I also love the pleated detail on the skirt, it just ads that little extra dimension. Also, how are you liking my new hat? ;) It’s the exact same as my black H&M one it’s a bit on the girly side of life for me, being pink & all but I thought the dusty pink would be nice for the warmer months & it makes a nice change.
