It seems so long since I have done an outfit post. I have been super busy again :S But I’m back & I don’t know if you can tell by these photos but I have bought myself a new camera! :) I have been saving up for ages to buy myself a DSLR & I finally did it, it’s a sort of birthday present to myself/first wage slip purchase, but like I said, it’s something I have been saving up for for a long time, & I didn’t just buy it for my blog, I still stand by that you don’t need a DSLR to have good blog photos, hell I have been blogging for almost three years without one & my blog has done just fine, I bought it because I like photography, I’m in no way saying that I am a photographer of any kind but taking photos is a pretty big hobby of mine so buying my Canon 1100D made sense as I know I will get a lot of use out of it for my photo taking habbit & for blog photos :)

Anyway onto the clothes! MinkPink & Out & About kindly sent me this beauty of a dress a couple of weeks ago & I have literally worn it to death since it arrived. It’s such a nice shape, not too clingy, not too short & hangs perfectly. I also love the pleated detail on the skirt, it just ads that little extra dimension. Also, how are you liking my new hat? ;) It’s the exact same as my black H&M one it’s a bit on the girly side of life for me, being pink & all but I thought the dusty pink would be nice for the warmer months & it makes a nice change.

#NLFASHWEEKFILM…

Hi again, did you miss me? ;) Sorry I’ve been a bit AWOL the past week or so, I have been so busy with work that I just haven’t had time to sit down & blog. D: The new job is going really well though, literally loving every minute! (‘:

I’m sure that if you went to London Fashion Week, you may have already seen this at New Looks event at LFW on the Friday as I have had may a tweets about it. The script was written by the amazing Amy Watson of Maker Projects & the short film was always supposed to be tongue & cheek, not taking the piss out of fashion bloggers but taking the piss out of some fashion bloggers if you get what I mean, no offence intended, it’s supposed to be a laugh & I think it has turned out really well. It reminds me of Stu’s ‘how to pose like a fashion blogger’ posts (UNE & DUEX) Seriously, go & read them, they are hilarious & SO true (‘: Also, another fab post I think you should all read is ‘sh*t fashion bloggers say’ by Law of That’s So Yesterday, again, everything she says about 'the ‘try hards’ & ‘just be’s’ is SO true whether people want to admit it or not!

Anyway, I had a brilliant day filming with everyone & it was lovely to meet Jen (J Noir) & Monica (The Elgin Avenue) As you can see, I have made a few GIFs from the video so you can kind of get the gist of the film before watching it ;) Also, the people at The Muse TV have do a little feature on a few of my outfits, you can check it out here>link :)

I can’t believe how busy I have been this week, it’s been a bit of a whirlwind! On Monday, I got a call from Amy at Maker projects asking if I wanted to be in a mini film that they were making for New Look for London Fashion week, obviously I jumped at the chance & that same night, I was whisked off to London to start filming the next day. Tuesday consisted of lots of filming & I also got to meet the lovely Jen & Monica! Wednesday I headed to Manchester to film the voice over & now I’m just waiting to see the results! I am going to post a little behind the scenes either tomorrow or Tuesday so you can see some of the photos of what we got up to.

It was also my last day interning at Missguided on Thursday :( I have had such an amazing time there & have learned so much, thank you so much for putting up with me for so long Sara! (‘: But tomorrow is also a big day for me as I start my new job! Eeee, I am so excited. & you may have noticed the newest addition to my tattoo family…hello crescent moon! (finally, I have literally been meaning to get it for ages & finally had a bit of spare cash the other day! YAY!)

Now for the outfit, the top was sent to me by Lashes Of London just before Christmas but I haven’t had chance to wear it until now. It’s maybe a little spangely for daytime wear but dressed down with flats & my trusty hat, I think I got away with it? I love the colour of the sequins & the cut out back is perfect, thank you so much Lashes Of London!

I am so happy! I have finally got a job again! A proper job! If you follow me on twitter you may already know that I lost my job as a visual merchandiser just before Christmas as the shop I worked in closed down *boo* but I have been keeping busy, still interning at Missguided with Sara & searching for more work. But now all my hard work & waiting has paid off as, as of Monday 11th Feb I am starting work at DaisyStreet! Eeee I’m so excited! (‘: Anyway enough about me, onto the clooooothes…

If you are anything like me & don’t like wearing heels much then these babies will be perfect for you, they are so easy to walk in & as I already said, they are super comfy! OK, now for the dress. It was sent to me by the lovely people of AX Paris. I chose it purely for the print, although the cut of the dress is pretty cute too, it’s made of a really nice quality material, a little on the short side of life, but cute none the less. It’s definitely a dress up or down dress which is fab as I love versatile pieces so much because you get so much more wear out of them!
